RAF dinghy first aid tin

RAF first aid outfit type 3 for aircraft dinghy.

The gilt plated tin has a hinged lid which has a printed contents list inside. The base has a bright finish which can be used to signal, using sunlight, to attract the searching ASR. It would have been issued during 1944, which is the date found on some of the contents. The tin size is, 3 1/2" x 4 x 3 1/2".

In a good condition with some wear to the outside gilt finish, found with some contents and a empty ampoules tin.
