RAF pilots log books and ephemera.

To - RAF flying officer, Clifford Harrison Thorn. A collection of ephemera to f/o Thorn with his two log books. Thorn was with the Empire flying school, South Africa. He went on to be a flying instructor and then onto air sea rescue. The logs are his training log and instructional and ASR log for wartime and postwar. Thorn finished his RAF service in 1958, as a flight lieutenant.

The ephemera is too much to list individualy. Mostly wartime dated - there are his photographs, service & release book, flying clothing card, RAF passes, uk air maps, flight record logs, navigational logs, telegrams, RAF menus (signed menu), aircrew training manual, excercise books, etc................

A large comprehensive lot to one man.
