RAF flying helmet wiring loom plug adaptor. The helmet wiring loom jack (bell) plug fits into the bakelite female scocket which is connected to a smaller jack plug via a short wiring loom. The helmet's communication system can then be checked for faults, at the airfield clothing ready room, before entering the aircraft (see last two example photos). In a very good condition.
