Rolls Royce merlin engine casting

A rare 'original' Rolls Royce merlin aero engine generator housing. This large alloy casting would bolt onto the left hand side of the engine block to mount the generator on to (see last 3 photos). 

This casting looks to be in an excellent but 'used' condition, and has its original engine number stamped onto the side of it (169549). RR part and casting numbers are also to be found. Remains of the original paint can be seen in places. Although the casting is in an excellent condition we cannot guarantee serviceability, therefore this item is sold purely as a collectable item.
