Rolls Royce griffon, Spitfire aero engine piston and clock.
Original piston and con rod from a RR griffon V12 aero engine, with a clock mounted in the big end.
Rolls Royce griffon GN numbers stamped and etched on most of the parts (see photos). It has a vintage smiths clockwork clock mounted in the big end, which is in good working order.
The piston looks to have come from a working engine, as there are still carbon deposits on the inside of the piston head. The outside and the conrod have been polished. It makes a superb functional display piece.
