RAF wartime, aircraft electricians avometer.
Air Ministry test meter type D, stores Ref. No. 10S/10610, dated 1945.
Used for testing the correct voltage and resistance levels on wartime aircraft. This was an essential piece of equipment for all RAF ground crew electricians.
Size, 8 x 7 x4", with an aluminium back box and black bakelite front. It has a good A.M. marked dial, also with RAF and a 1945 date. Comes with the orignal cloth covered leads and probes.
In a very good condition, has the top battery cover missing.
Sold as a collectable, and not for use.
