RAF, rare DFM medal case.
Made by the Royal Mint, which has its logo on the silk lid lining. This has a King Crown emblem, showing that the case was produced sometime upto the early 1950's. Most DFM wartime medals are presented in a standard card box (unlike the officer's DFC medals).
The size is, 130 x 60 x 20mm.
The hinged case lid is embossed DFM, and the base has a felt lining which is recessed to hold the medal and medal bar.
In a very good issued condition.
