RAF, Type C leather flying helmet.
Air Ministry Stores Ref. No. 22C/879, late pattern C type flying helmet, Size 3.
It is fully wired with an excellent internally fitted wiring loom, and a very good pair of type 32 receiver/earphones and a bell/jack plug.
The outside leather is in a lovely supple condition and the A.M. and Ref. No can just bee seen stamped at the bottom side (see photo). The inside chamois leather liner is in a very good condition, but slightly soiled. The elastic chin strap is good, if a little tired. The rubber earcups are still good and supple.
A very good fully wired flying helmet.
Not for sale to the EU.
