RAF oxygen mask adaptor hose.
Air Ministry Ref. No. 6D/560, Adaptor tube complete.
This consists of the much sought after 6D/101 oxygen connector (dated 1939) black rubber hose approximately 21" long in a very good supple condition, bayonet connector 6D/482, complete with the original card stores tag.
The hose was used in conjunction with oxygen masks type E, E*, G or H to be worn in aircraft fitted with the early type D oxygen delivery system. The adaptor hose could also be used with the Mk 1a portable oxygen supply, allowing bomber crew to freely walk around the aircraft whist flying at altitude.
An excellent, and scarce item.
