WW2, RAF flying helmet and oxygen mask retaining clip.
The white metal clip is fitted with two female type press stud fasteners. This allows fixing to the early pattern types c, d & e helmets, securing types e*, g & h oxygen masks into place. The clips has two brass screws and nuts to allow a permanent fixture to the helmet.
In an excellent condition.
