RAF e type fully wired, aertex flying helmet.
This is a late wartime pattern helmet which has an internal wiring loom. Stores Ref. NO. 22C/ 975, size 3.
It is fitted with an excellent brown and purple braided wiring loom, still with its paper Air Ministry label. An excellent pair of type 32 earphone receivers and a great condition jack/bell plug which complete the electrics.
The helmet is in near 'mint' condition with the aertex material and chamois leather ear doughnuts showing little signs of wear. The rubber earcups are still soft and pliable and the elastic chin strap is very good.
An excellent example of this late wartime helmet.
