RAF c-type leather flying helmet.
This helmet is a size 4, which is the largest size issued. It is in an excellent 'used' condition, fully wired with a very good internal wiring loom, a pair of type 32 receiver/earphones and bell/jack plug. The rubber earcups are still nice and supple and without damage, there is a very good elastic chin strap and the outside leather is in excellent condition. The inside chamois leather liner is in a good condition without any damage, but it has some soiling due to being worn. The helmet forehead has a press stud fitted, which could be for a later visor attachment.
An excellent large size helmet.
