RAF B type leather flying helmet

RAF B-Type Zip Ear Leather Flying Helmet.

This classic RAF flying helmet is famous for being the type worn by fighter pilots during the Battle of Britain.
Air Ministry Ref. No. 22C/65, rubber stamped on the inside of the helmet (albeit feint).
The helmet outside chrome leather is in a good condition, one top side front seam has had some restitching which is an old repair / fitting seam (see photos).
The Bennett's buckle fastener's are complete, one has the top part of its leather covering missing (see photo). The leather chin strap retains it's metal V end piece.
With Zip Ear receiver coverings with a pair of rubber cushions inside. 
Both ear zips work perfectly and both leather pullers are present.
The inside chamois leather is complete, but with some soiling.
The size is stamped inside but it is now illegible, it looks to be a size 3.
It is named (feint).
This helmet is in a very good 'used' condition.
