Fleet Air Arm leather flying helmet.
This second pattern helmet looks to be a size 3.
The helmet is fully wired with a very good internal wiring loom, receivers and ear sponges. The zip ear coverings have good working zips with original leather pullers. All the goggle straps and press studs are present and working. The elastic chin strap is somewhat tired. Although the leather outer of the helmet is supple, it has suffered in places with cracking and scuffing (see photos).
