RAF naviagators chartboard type D with scarce canvas bag.
The green canvas bag, Air Ministry Ref. No. 6B/164 is in a very good condition with some storeage marks. It has its four leather securing tabs on the rear.
Inside is found a paxolin chartboard Ref. No. 6B/163, with its black painted, brass moveable plotting arm. This is nicely stamped with A.M. and crown and a serial No. 1432/43. The arm is in a good condition (see photos). The board has an old paper (1933) aircraft plotting chart which looks to have some pencil navigation workings written on it. The board is complete with two bungee securing straps for keeping the plotting arm from moving about when stored.
A good item with its scarce canvas Air Ministry bag (the lot is quite heavy, 4.5kgs).
Overseas buyer needs to get a postal cost first.
Not for sale to the EU.
