RAF air gunner Everhot chemically heated belt.
This accessory was issued to RAF air crew, primarily bomber command air gunners. The two small pouches are made from a khaki coloured rubberised cotton material. These are sewn onto a white cotton belt with brass fixings. The pouches held small chemical packets, which when activated with a small amount of water reacted to give off heat for several hours. Both pouches are Air Ministry stamped with a stores Ref. No. 22C/454.
Maximum size for the belt is 38", and it is in a very good used condition.
