RAF 1940 pattern flying suit, in near 'mint' condition, comes with history.

Made from a green cotton heavy gauge material in an excellent condition. With a complete set of working zips (Tefal / Air Ministry / Dot) also in excellent condition. Both cuffs are trimmed with superb 'mint' condition fur also an excellent detachable air ministry marked fur collar. At the rear is a stitched belt with two adjustable buckles. Inside is an Air Ministry rubber stamp and AID stamp plus a white cotton printed size label.
Issued to a 76 Squadron air gunner, details supplied, who looks to have probably worn it once.
A superb example of a scarce flying suit, as it only had a small production run before being superseded by the 1941 pattern suit.
