RAF aircrew canvas parachute bag.
Intended use was for storing and collecting the parachute, once used. But, in reality it was mainly used as an aircrew kit bag.
This bag is in a good original 'used' condition. The 'Lightning' zip is in a good working order, and the internal securing flaps are still present with their Newey press studs. The base of the bag is in a good condition (see photo) as here it can be prone to wear.
