RAF classic 'snail or ditching' whistle.
Often seen hanging on RAF aircrew b/d blouse collar or 1941 pattern Mae West.
This chrome plated brass whistle is air ministry marked 23/230 on one side, and 293/14/L1795 on the other.
In a very good condition with some slight wear to the plating, guaranteed original wartime issue.
