RAF 1941 pattern Mae West inflation lever and securing clip.
This J shaped chrome metal lever assembly fixes to the base of the Mae West bladder and is secured by a jubilee type clip (included). The round collar of the lever holds a CO2 cylinder, and when the lever is pulled forward the neck of the cylinder snaps releasing the gas.
This lever is in an excellent condition. It has a good clear Air Ministry and Kings Crown stamp. The three piece collar section comes apart easily, once the grub screw is removed. An original lever/bladder securing jubilee clip is included.
