Founded in 1925 and is the oldest of the 15 university squadron's.
Notable members were - John Fairey (aviation), Frank Whittle (jet engine), George Barclay DFC, Kenneth Campbell VC, plus many other famous pilots including King Charles III.
The badge size, 4" x 3".
Black felt background with gold silk thread.
Looks to be pre-war made.
A scarce badge in a very good 'used' condition.
