RAF aircraft instrument Ventura tube.
Air Ministry stores Ref. No. 6A/600, and dated 1939.
Ventura tubes worked as a realiable way of creating a vacuum suction to power gyroscopic instruments, such as artificial horizons and directional indicators. Mounted externally on the airframe, they can often be seen in wartime close up photo's of RAF aircraft.
This example is in pristine condition, never being fitted, and it still retains its stores reference tags.
Not for sale to the EU.
