RAF Lancaster Merlin engine piston and valves

Code: 10520

SOLD

RAF Lancaster bomber, Merlin engine piston and valve display.

Rolls Royce Merlin XX engine parts, recovered from one of the engines of RAF 101 Squadron Lancaster W4326. This Lancaster crashed on 16th November 1942, flying from RAF Holme-on-Spalding-moor, Yorkshire, and sadly the crew of seven were killed.

The parts are all in excellent condition (see photos) and are nicely stamped and marked from the Rolls Royce factory. These are displayed on a purpose made wooden stand with an engaved plaque. The complete display is quite heavy. Comes with some research.
