RAF Mk VII flying goggles.
Stores Ref. No. 22C/826, with Air Ministry and Kings crown stamped on the nose bridge.
The frames are in a very good condition with most of the paint finish intact, and with the original adjustment nuts. The leather face surround is in a good condition, although the internal padding is a little stiff in places. The leather nose covering is good.
Fitted with clear replaceable lenses which are in a good condition, with only slight delamination around the edge (see photos). These goggles are fitted with an elasticated strap which is in a fair condition with some elasticity (see photos). They also benefit from a complete un-cut central adjustment bar, which can hold a clip-on type sun shield, if required.
